How Lime works

Lime is a launchpad on Solana. Anyone can create a coin in one transaction: it mints a fixed supply, sells it on a bonding curve, and graduates once the curve raises its target — at which point its liquidity is locked forever.

The part that is different: a coin does not have to be priced in SOL. It can be priced in a tokenised stock, an ETF, or another token — so a coin can trade against the S&P 500 or NVIDIA instead of against a memecoin market.

01 · What Lime is

A coin on Lime starts on a bonding curve rather than in a liquidity pool. The curve sets the price from the amount bought so far: early buys are cheaper, later buys cost more, and nobody has to provide liquidity for trading to begin. There is no presale, no allocation to insiders, and no way to launch with a hidden supply.

When enough has been raised, the coin graduates: the curve closes and the raised funds become a permanent liquidity pool. That liquidity is locked and cannot be withdrawn — not by the creator, and not by us.

02 · Launching a coin

Launching takes one transaction — or two, approved together, when you pay in SOL for a coin priced in another asset and the swap does not fit in one.

Name and tickerAny language — Chinese, Arabic, Japanese and emoji all work.
ImageStored permanently on Arweave through Irys, so it stays available independently of this site. Before it is stored, an image-safety check running on our own server looks at it: clear adult content is refused, and an image it cannot confirm is safe has to be swapped for another. Animated logos can have up to 24 frames.
Priced inSOL, a stock, an ETF, or another token. See below.
TokenA Token-2022 token with its name, ticker and metadata link stored in the mint itself, and no transfer fee. Coins launched before 21 October 2026 are classic SPL tokens and keep working as before.
SupplyOne billion, always. No mint authority survives the launch, and a new coin has no freeze authority either.

What a coin is priced in and its supply are permanent by design. A coin whose terms can be edited after people have bought is a coin whose terms are a suggestion, so Lime does not allow it.

03 · What a coin is priced in

Every coin trades against one asset, chosen at launch. Buyers pay in that asset and sellers receive it. If you price a coin in NVDA, then holding it is a bet on the coin relative to NVDA — the pairing is the product, not a detail.

Buying a coin priced in a stock does not require holding that stock first. Pay in SOL and it is converted in the same transaction; anything left over stays in your wallet and is used by your next buy.

04 · The bonding curve

Price rises as the coin is bought and falls as it is sold, along a fixed mathematical curve. Nothing about that curve can be changed after launch, so the price at any moment follows only from how much has been bought.

You can sell back to the curve at any time before graduation. There is no lock-up, no vesting and no window in which selling is blocked.

Always set a slippage limit. A trade that accepts any price can be sandwiched by a bot. The trade panel sets one for you and widens it only as far as the trade's own price impact requires.

05 · Graduation

When the curve raises its target, the coin graduates. About a second later its liquidity is in a Raydium pool and the coin is tradeable anywhere on Solana, not only here. On Lime, a buy or sell against the coin's own quote asset goes straight into that pool, with no router in between; paying or receiving another asset (SOL for a coin priced in USDC, say) is routed through Jupiter, which usually picks up a new pool within minutes — until it does, that kind of swap may find no route. Every swap on the pool pays its own fixed 1.25%, wherever it is made; a swap made here also pays Lime's 1% protocol fee (see fees). On the direct route it is taken in the quote asset: 1% of what you pay on a buy, and on a sell 1% of the minimum the swap guarantees you, or of the expected amount less 3% when your slippage is set above 3%.

The liquidity is locked permanently. Nobody can withdraw it — the creator cannot, and neither can Lime. The most common way a new coin collapses is the person who launched it removing the liquidity; that is not possible here.

06 · The Lime address

Coins launched here have an address ending in Lime. It is a way to recognise a genuine Lime launch at a glance, in a wallet or an explorer, without trusting a logo.

Note the capital L: Solana addresses use an alphabet with no lowercase l, so an address ending in a lowercase spelling cannot exist. Anything claiming otherwise is not a real address.

07 · Safety

  • Lime never asks for a seed phrase or a private key. Connecting a wallet only shares your public address. Anyone who asks for more is stealing from you.
  • Check the address, not the name. Names and tickers are not unique and anyone can copy one. The address is the only thing that identifies a coin.
  • The supply is fixed and the liquidity locks at graduation — but neither of those makes a coin a good investment.
  • Report a coin from the flag on its page. Hiding it removes it from this site and blocks its logo here (unless a visible coin uses the same image); it keeps trading on Solana either way, because no one can stop that.
  • No transfer tax. A coin launched from another app under Lime's Raydium configuration whose token charges a transfer fee is hidden from this site automatically.

08 · Risk

  • Most coins go to zero. That is the honest base rate for this entire category, and nothing about Lime changes it.
  • Tokenised stocks are not stocks. They are tokens issued by a company, and that issuer can freeze or seize them, or halt transfers. Pricing a coin in one inherits that risk. They also track a market that closes, while a coin priced against them trades continuously.
  • Only risk what you can lose. This is not investment advice, and nothing here is a prediction.

09 · For developers

The full integrator page — every address, PlatformConfig per tier, request shapes and copy-paste code for reading, trading, sniping and launching — is at /developers; the machine-readable spec at /api/v1/openapi.json. The short list:

Everything the site shows is also served as JSON under /api/v1: open CORS, no key, cached at the edge for a few seconds, 300 requests per minute per IP (quotes 60). Errors come back as { "error": "…" } with a 4xx or 5xx status. Addresses are base58 mints.

  • GET /api/v1/tokens?sort=recent|newest|oldest|marketcap|volume&range=all|24h|7d&limit=1..200&cursor=…&q=… — the coin list, paginated by nextCursor.
  • GET /api/v1/tokens/{mint} — one coin: curve, quote asset, phase, fee policy, stats.
  • GET /api/v1/tokens/{mint}/trades?limit=1..200&since={block} — without since, the newest trades, newest first. With it, every trade at or after that block, oldest first and in whole blocks (a page can run past limit to finish its last block), plus nextSince: send that as the next since. The last block is returned again on the next poll on purpose, so drop trades whose id you already hold.
  • GET /api/v1/tokens/{mint}/candles?interval=1m|5m|15m|1h|4h|1d&limit=1..500 — OHLC and quote volume.
  • GET /api/v1/tokens/{mint}/holders?limit=… — top holders by balance.
  • GET /api/v1/tokens/{mint}/quote?side=buy|sell&amount={base units} — a live quote off the curve (a graduated coin is a 409; its prepared trade carries the pool's quote).
  • GET /api/v1/earnings/{wallet} — what a wallet has been paid and what is accruing.
  • GET /api/v1/stats, GET /api/v1/status, GET /api/v1/contracts — site totals, component health, and every on-chain address (program, PlatformConfigs, treasury, quote assets).
  • GET /api/v1/tokenlist.json — graduated coins as a standard Token List, for wallets and aggregators.
  • GET /api/v1/launchlab/pricing?quoteMint=… — everything needed to build a launch yourself: per quote asset the GlobalConfig, the raise target in base units, the curve (supply, amount sold, virtual reserves) and the token program; per fee tier the PlatformConfig address; the program, PDAs and treasury.
  • POST /api/v1/trades/prepare — an unsigned buy or sell for your users, on a coin's curve or, once it graduates, straight into its own Raydium pool: {wallet, mint, side, amount, slippageBps?, minOut?}; the wallet alone signs. A minOut the curve or pool no longer pays is a 409 — quote again. GET /api/v1/launches/recent — the newest coins first, 3 s cache.
  • POST /api/v1/launches/prepare — an unsigned launch transaction for your users, built exactly as /create builds it: body {creator, mint, name, symbol, uri, quoteMint, tierBps, allocation?, creatorSplit?, firstBuy?}; you sign with the creator and the mint keypair and send it yourself. The reply carries the pool id and the record message the creator signs so the allocation is stored; POST that record to /api/launch/record from your server, since it refuses cross-site browser requests. 25 a minute per IP.

Build it yourself. Take quoteAssets[i].globalConfig, raise.raw as totalFundRaisingB, curve.supply and curve.totalSellA, the PlatformConfig for your tier, and call initialize_with_token_2022 — a Token-2022 base mint at 6 decimals with its metadata in the mint and no transfer fee — passing quoteAssets[i].curveRules[tierBps] (the PDA ["platform_curve_rule", platformConfig, globalConfig]) as a read-only remaining account. A pool created that way under one of the PlatformConfigs is adopted on sight. No key, no API token, nothing custodial: your users sign in their own wallets.

Coins launched on Lime's PlatformConfigs from your own app or bot — a raw initialize_with_token_2022, or the Raydium SDK's classic-SPL initialize_v2 — are found and indexed the same way, except that one whose mint charges a Token-2022 transfer fee is hidden from the site and the API. The PlatformConfig addresses per fee tier are in /api/v1/contracts.
